i dont think i can use a iron gear at least my cam card said dont use one, earson recomends a alu-bronze gear for the dist is there one? |

Unless you have a steel cam, the iron gear will be fine. As for the distributor gear, they are plastic (nylon) so that is not an issue. I think your cam card has info which applies to a Chebby, not a Slant. DD |

Doc, your article doesnt mention the cast bronze gear. How did the bronze gear work out, do you have any success stories?

NAPA still lists the iron dist gear, it is Echlin P/N DG404. |

You have a steel cam.... You can get a bronze gear from Dutra (Doctor Dodge) or the Cox Boys. They cost about $45.00 DD |
