Found some chrome rally side mirrors on an early 70's b-body today that I am thinking of picking up just for the cores. They are both remotes and I know the base is different for my a-body but if I cut the remote cables is there any way to secure the glass in the housing, possibly using something from more current technology. I would still like the glass to pivot, just don't need the remote feature. Any suggestions??
