'74 2 door Scamp. What do I need to replace o make the windows roll up and down smoothly. Right now they sort of jump and bounce as they go down. I know there is a felt thingy that rides up and down on the pipe. Where can I get new ones of those? Are there any other wear parts I should replace? I am also replacing the cat whiskers. I got those from Hardens.

Thanks

Perhaps the rollers are worn. They are a pain to replace but it sure fixes it up. There are nylon rollers attached to the windows that ride in tracks to keep the window aligned and smooth operation.

Worn channels will cause what you describe. They are available from several sources, but I think JC Whitney is the least expensive.
