'74 2 door Scamp. What do I need to replace o make the windows roll up and down smoothly. Right now they sort of jump and bounce as they go down. I know there is a felt thingy that rides up and down on the pipe. Where can I get new ones of those? Are there any other wear parts I should replace? I am also replacing the cat whiskers. I got those from Hardens. Thanks |

Perhaps the rollers are worn. They are a pain to replace but it sure fixes it up. There are nylon rollers attached to the windows that ride in tracks to keep the window aligned and smooth operation. Mike |

Worn channels will cause what you describe. They are available from several sources, but I think JC Whitney is the least expensive. |
