Earlier in this post I asked if the manifold was for a "super six" 2bbl or 1bbl - to clarify - is the manifold to exhaust pipe connection larger in diameter for the 2bbl ? Or is the diameter the same for both the 1bbl and 2bbl manifolds ?

thanks jeff

Same. There is no difference between the exhaust manifolds used with 1bbl and with 2bbl setups.

And if you are wondering about this manifold, the exhaust pipe ID is 2" at the flange. I just measured it today.

I also purchased a "A-1" exhaust manifold. The casting was very poor and actually had sand holes in the casting below the heat riser. I repaired it with J B Weld prior to installation and it's been fine so far. It also had the "China" name cast in to it. If I had it to do again, I would buy one from a junk yard !!!
