I am thinking of fabbing up a tow bar for my Dart, and the materials/welding part of it is no problem, but I have 1 concern. How do I keep the tires on the Dart from turning while the tow vehicle is going straight? Do the tires naturally go the way I am leading? Or will they want to turn to the side? Anyone have any experience with this?

well you can tow it backwards in neutral or have someone steer the car for you its not good for the transmission if you dont take out the drive shaft... i took 2 L shaped pieces to go around the bumper welded chains on the ends of them drilled holes for bolts and hooked them to a to a trailer hitch it wasnt difficult as long as your a good welder

Don't lock up the steering.

The tires track automatically when you're going forward.

But when you're go backwards the tires get terribly confused......

Might want to do a search on this as I remember a year or so ago this was a problem for someone here on the board. They couldnt get it to track straight.
