I found another BBD. I think it's older type. It has flat accelerator pump shaft.
Here is picture of it
http://www.slantsix.org/articles/choke- ... rvice1.jpg

I would like to have adjusting instruction for this carburetor if anybody knows how to adjust it and if it's possible to adjust. Also there was no accelator pump arm installed, I do not know why , but I made one by myself, problem is that I do not know what is correct length for it.

and know your english is just fine :)

Justin,

You don't need to log out. Just close the browser when you are finished.

Thanks Justin

Is it possible to copy me that manual, which comes with rebuild kit ?

I also still want to know, what is correct length for the 'Throttle connector rod' ( part number 4 in that picture-- http://www.slantsix.org/articles/choke- ... rvice1.jpg). When I get that carb it was missing that part, and there was other damages also which i have already repaired.

It might be that i'll never need that carb, but I would like to make it work and try it .
The other newer Carter BBD I have, is now rebushed and I also had to make new throttle axle, because the original was too much worn. I'm now adjusting it and I will let you all know what is the result.

The rod is 90mm long between to locating bends.

Hope this helps.

I may have a rebuild sheet. Let me know if you still need it.

Joug,

I have the instructions for you in JPG format. The problem is that these files are large, about 1.3mb total. You also can't print them out from a browser because the page size is large. If I reduce them there will be a significant loss in quality. You will need some kind of photo editor to print them. What do you want me to do? I can send you a zipped up file of the 4 pages but it will take a long time to download if you are using a modem connection

Chuck

I have no problems with jpg's and there is enough space in my email. So if you can send them to me , I will be very happy.

Joug
