Does anyone know where I can buy a lift kit? I've kinda been looking but if anyone knows a website it would help. looking for about a 2" lift kit

Isn't that truck 2WD? Raising the ride height of a vehicle is the wrong way to go for on-road handling.

I'm not worried about on road handling. it drives 1/4 mile a day to and from work. I just want it higher off the ground. I'm going to get a set of leaf springs with more springs too so i can haul things around. I am just looking for some suspension blocks to lift the truck up a little bit. Along with new springs and sway bars it will be alright.

I bought a 4'' Rancho lift for mine for $600 and it was perfect because I didnt have to extend anything. I think I got it from JC whitney. you might have to buy longer shocks though. The ones I bought were about $75 a
pice but they have cheaper ones.

do you have any pictures of it? Just curious how a 4" lift looks.

well, instead of buying a lift kit I am just going to go down to the segal and son iron works and get a piece of square tubing, drill a hole for the center bolts, new u bolts and jack it up myself. front wise, I am going to replace the springs with heavier springs and new struts all around. I'll post pics soon of before / after

That should work too. All mine is front spring and rear blocks anyway. Just be careful that you don get too much axel wrap.

yeah. I just want to get it lifted up a little bit. rides too low right now, plus front/rear shocks are shot and it bottoms out. I might get some more leaf springs to add to it so I can haul whatever I need around. plus the front springs are shot anyways. I wonder what would be some good springs to install up front? Are the OEM new springs for the dodges pretty stiff when they are new?

Springs are fine "new" but use ESPO or even JC Whitney. Why not just fix your shocks and springs and not worry about the band-aid of a lift kit?
Also if you are buying new springs just have them made with a higher lift built in.

I'm not trying to band aid my truck with a lift kit. I dont like how low its sitting right now. I just want it lifted up a little bit and get the suspension fixed properly. If I can save some money by making my own blocks, that what I'll do though. I just wanted to know as far as the front if I should buy heavier springs or if the OE / Remand are alright to install. The springs that are on the truck right now have 186,000 miles on them. Time for replacement

Well, as mentioned above, JC Whitney might be a good choice. They had/have a special running on springs. I just picked up a set of rear leaves for the Valiant 'fer cheap. OE spec. $137.96 delivered. The poor UPS guy looked beat carrying them up on the porch.

I did Rancho Variable rate front coils on a 2wd I owned years ago, and it was a new truck.
I had a set of rear leaves made by a custom outfit in Portland OR. Added air shocks, and overloads. I could carry anything I could reasonably fit in the truck bed. handled remarkably well after that!
