Hello,

I have a little starting problem, the cold start is a little hard, but the choke works and its full closed cold.
Warm/Hot engine start is perfect.

Is it time for a carburetor rebuild ? Is there a Kit for it ?

Hard cold starting can be due to different problems. What happens, exactly? Extended cranking time before the engine will first fire? Or it fires and then stalls repeatedly? If it's been awhile, a carburetor cleanup and rebuild is a good idea; carburetor operation and repair manuals (and some training movies) are posted here for free download. it's like there is no gas or no sparkplug fire. It's not possible to start cold at one try, you would empty the batterie. Cranking a few seconds, stop, cranking again and it starts.

I'm sitting back and watching this one cause mine's doing, pretty much, the same thing. Sits overnight and the filter's empty and there's no fuel in the carb (no squirter). It's not leaking out anywhere and it doesn't seem to be leaking down through the carb either. Wondering if my fuel pump is taking a dump, not holding the fuel and letting it work it's way back to the tank...

This can be caused by leaky fuel pump valves.

After shut off and going through heat soak most of the gas may boil or evaporate out of the bowl, so by morning when you pump it once to set the choke and turn the key, there is no gas left and/or maybe not enough for a good healthy pump shot. Also the accelerator pump could be weak or out of adjustment.

What Dan is saying the fuel could also drain back through the fuel pump. So you need to crank it a few times to re-fill the fuel bowl in the morning.

Running a fuel pressure gauge you can monitor this effect.
