I forgot about back to the 50's. I chose Kearney over BIR last year, sometimes we just need to flip a coin. There are way too many things to do during the summer.

Chris and all,

It will definitely be a points event. Glad you are planning to make it. We will plan the date to balance as many folks as possible.

After a few more (hopeful) chime-ins, I'll get back with Mike and we'll decide on the date.

I wonder if oklahoma joe, omahamoparguy, and turbo66valiant might come?? Can someone do us a favor and talk to/PM them?

Thanks,

Lou

Lou I have that poll I took last year downloaded, I'll tend to those that responded on it that have not already checked in here. Plus, between me, Vynn, BJ and all we'll try to notify those that have a Slanter but not a computer. As soon as we firm up a date, we'll throw the switch down here.

Rick,

Sounds great. We'll set a date soon.

Now, get to the wrench turning. I love '63-4 Darts and I want to see yours running in person! I am nearing the 3yrs "apart" mark on the Valiant, and by crikey it'll run this spring...

Lou

Ryan,

Thanks for your input. I need to get back with Mike on a date soon. We'll go for a Sunday race too, if possible.

BTW, final welding for the wastegate on the '68 Dart is underway and we have all oiling stuff worked out. Should have it boosted by Kearney.

Cheers,

Lou

Well, at least your is still together. The old girl has been apart since Oct and nothing has changed. Been without power at home for over 8 days so I doubt I'm getting to the Valiant anytime soon.

Weighing everyone and everything here, it looks like August 6 might be the best date.

I cannot make June 19 and June 5 would be tough but possible. Looks like several locals cannot do June 19, and it conflicts with a West race.

Any further comments/lobbying regarding June 5 vs. Aug 6??? Let me know and I'll talk to Mike soon and get the date set.

Thanks,

Lou

August 6th sounds good with me. The National Event at BIR is the following weekend.

Looks like I am going to be putting in some OT in June and July to pay for my drag racing in August!

August is always iffy for me getting vacation time. I am low man in seniority and the other guys do family vacations before back to school. IF I am not scheduled for 12's the following week I can make it. I'd rather race in June though.

I could do either June 5th or August 6th.
