I have a plum unborded 225 iron block and was just drilling out oil passages through the cam bearings, but god knows what was going through my head when I thort I hadn't drilled through enough but I went through the block! This is so embarresing to tell but hey we all make mistakes, $#!+!

Should I get the hole welded up?? Or start again and find a new block?

if the hole came out in a place where access is OK,tap a thread into the stray hole and fit a plug.

You just drilled through the wall of the oil galley right? Drill and tap it for a 1/16 or 1/8-NPT plug and press on.

Is the hole in the front or back?

If it's in the front, maybe you can make a plug with a tiny hole in it to spray oil on the timing chain...........
