i picked up one of these manifolds on the cheap and the guy threw in 2 matching carter bbd carbs that fit. Sounds like a lot of carb for a stock 225motor. Has anybody got these to run with with twin 2barrels?

Welcome aboard Brian. The BBDs are not progressive and might be a bit much, but if ya back off the accelerator pumps a little,
maybe not. My SWAG. Anyone actually done this?

Welcome! :D

There are folks with more carburetor. Signal may be a bit low, but with a bit of tinkering, they should work fine. What did they run on the dual 2bbl's in Africa?
Where does that put CFM rating? Probably just under 600 CFM. The two barrels were rated at 4" or 2"? I can never remember. They are rated at a different differential than four barrels. Not really a level playing field!

Those carbs on the VC look like progressive webers, similar to what I'm doing but I've got DFEV carbs which are mirror image to those ones....good to see it runs on that YouTube video,it give some reassurance!
