Yes, but I would use an electronic regulator. It looks similar to the original 66 regulator, but not as tall. Most parts stores sell them, if you ask for a regulator for a 66 mopar. Wires hook up the same as stock. If the cover is crimped on, that is the mechanical one, you don't want.

I would point out that the mechanical regulators I've seen are either held on with 2 rivits or 2 screws. But then again, mine is a '65.
